What we keep, and why.

This notice explains what the FireflyZ website (fireflyz-dayz.com) and the FireflyZ Discord bot collect when you use the site and store. FireflyZ runs community DayZ servers from Georgia, United States.

What we collect

• Steam: when you sign in with Steam, Steam tells us your Steam64 ID. We look up your public Steam name and avatar to show you who is signed in. We never see your Steam password and get nothing else from your account.
• Discord: if you link Discord, Discord tells us your Discord user ID and display name. We use them only so the FireflyZ bot can give you the Supporter role. We never see your Discord password, messages or servers.
• Orders: what you bought, the price, the server you chose, order status, the details you type at checkout (such as clan tag, colors, weapon and design notes), and any reference images you upload for a custom order. Reference images are shared only with staff.
• Payments: Stripe collects your payment details, email and billing address and tells us whether the payment worked. We store a Stripe customer reference, never your card number. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Gameplay statistics: the leaderboard shows public player names and statistics from CFTools, the tool that runs the game servers.
• Technical logs: Cloudflare and our hosting provider record standard access logs (such as IP address and browser) to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

To deliver what you bought (priority queue, custom items, the Supporter role), to show your orders, to handle support and refunds, to keep tax and accounting records, and to protect the servers and store from fraud and abuse. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Cookies

The site uses only the cookies it needs to work. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.

• ffz_session: keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Signing out deletes it.
• ffz_login and ffz_discord: remember a sign-in or Discord link in progress, for up to 10 minutes.
• ffz_preview: only for staff previewing the site before launch.

Who else handles it

We share it only with the services that run the site, store and servers (payment, database, hosting and game server tools), and only as much as each one needs.

How long we keep it

Order and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require, usually up to seven years. Your Discord link stays until you ask us to remove it or link a different account. Sign-in cookies expire as described above.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information. We'll remove what we're allowed to, but we have to keep order records required for tax and fraud prevention. You can unlink Discord by asking staff, and you can revoke FireflyZ's access in Discord under User Settings → Authorized Apps.

Children

The site is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this notice. The date at the top shows the latest version.
